The Haldimand-Norfolk Resource Centre

OUR VISION

The vision of the resource centre is to enhance the self sufficiency and quality of life in an informal, family-like atmosphere that will empower consumer/survivors through education, social and recreational activities, build the self confidence and independence of consumer/survivors with the aid and input of family members and community volunteers.

The centre will be a safe, friendly place run by consumer/survivors where people can come for a visit, have a coffee and/or participate in the programs being offered.

Some of the things that will be available at the resource centre are:

• support group meetings
• educational programs
• a resource library
• social and leisure activities
• peer support, and
• a volunteer program
